 This is what winter looks like in Egypt ☀️🐠🌅🏝️ I recently visited Sharm El-Sheikh for some winter sun, where I experienced warm 25-degree days, turquoise seas, ancient worlds and desert adventures. I highly recommend visiting during Ramadan, which meant every street was lined with lanterns and lively celebrations each evening.  Here are my top recommendations on things to do in Sharm El-Sheikh:

1. Ras Mohammed National Park – A must for snorkelling or diving, with crystal-clear water, beautiful coral reefs and some of the most colourful marine life in the Red Sea. 2. Al-Sahaba Mosque –An architectural showstopper in the Old Market, especially beautiful at night when it’s illuminated against the desert sky. 3. Desert Safari Experience – Head into the Sinai Desert by quad or 4x4, ride across golden dunes and end with a Bedouin dinner under the stars. 4. Farsha Cafe – A cliffside spot overlooking the sea, famous for its boho décor, sunset views and evening light shows. 5. Al Mustafa Mosque – One of the city’s largest mosques, known for its grand domes and peaceful setting, particularly stunning at sunset. 6. Del Mar Beach Lounge – A relaxed beachfront hangout with sun loungers, cocktails and clear water perfect for swimming and snorkelling. 7. SOHO Square – A lively entertainment hub with restaurants, shops, a year-round ice rink and evening shows all in one place. 8. Old Market – The heart of local life, packed with spice stalls, souvenirs, street food and traditional cafés.
