against a $300 million budget, I wouldnt call it a "huge" success. and I wouldnt call it critically divided. most critics hated it and still do to this day.

BvS was pulled 1 month earlier than Avengers film that's a full 4 weeks of lost box office. it would have crossed a billion easily. $126m over weeks is a sleepwalk.

Yall need to realize. A Batman vs Superman movie making less than a billion at the time it came out is wildly surprising. Not to mention it was not received well. Tell me how a movie about cap vs iron man does way better. It’s very simple. It’s a better movie

U can’t use inflation because u can’t just assume the same people would buy more expensive tickets…also BvS is a sequel…The Batman Part II is making over a billion dollars, the Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow is going past BvS…

Listen I wanted BvS to be incredible, but that shit dropped hard in the second weekend because it was so poorly written and way too serious. I went to a screening and the poor little kids that showed up were bored out of their mind.
