@pixelgripmusic: it’s all fun and games until you’re asked to remix nine inch nails 🫣 this project was surreal. never been more mind blown then when i took apart the stems for “as alive as you need me to be”. hearing trent’s isolated vocals was unbelievable. he is such an incredibly gifted vocalist. each stem i opened made me want to fall to my knees. the boys noize synths were gob smacking. the drums. the fucking drums. the FUCKING SNARE. stumbled upon a really weird arp in the middle of the mix and i took it and manipulated it into a loop that you hear in the intro with the trent vocal sample my bandmate jon crafted. this song is such an anthem and bringing it into the pixel grip universe was euphoric. giving it this harmonic spin, adding these insane, jazzy chords, and then this monster of a bassline at the end. the end result is something i’m so proud of and i hope you love it too 💕 please tag me if you use it in a vid i want to see what yall do with it
