hi guys !! i’ll explain since it looks like nobody is lol. dogs pants because they can’t sweat, meaning they’re taking in more air than usual ( obviously ) considering this, when dogs drink WHILE they’re breathing heavily, they tend to take in gulps of water that they don’t actually need, which can cause something called bloat! technically it’s when a dogs stomach “flips” it’s lethal if not dealt with immediately and is most common within big dogs. please remember that this can happen even on any normal day!! make sure to take precautions like giving them ginger! :]

Yeah, the idea you can't give your dog any water in this situation is just wrong. And bloat is mostly caused by a dog eating food and then exercising, not by giving a dog some water after it has exercised. If anyone has any questions thry should ask their vet not TikTok!
