کسی انسان کے اصل کردار کو جانچنے کے لیے صرف اس کی باتوں پر یقین کرنا کافی نہیں، بلکہ اسے عزت اور آزادی دے کر دیکھنا چاہیے۔ جب ہم کسی شخص کو عزت دیتے ہیں تو اس کا رویہ ہمیں بتاتا ہے کہ وہ اس عزت کی قدر کیسے کرتا ہے، اور جب اسے آزادی ملتی ہے تو اس کی اصل طبیعت اور سوچ سامنے آ جاتی ہے۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ انسان کی حقیقت اکثر اس وقت ظاہر ہوتی ہے جب اسے اختیار اور آزادی حاصل ہو۔ زندگی میں ہم اکثر لوگوں کو ان کے ظاہری رویے سے پرکھتے ہیں، لیکن ہر انسان اپنے اندر ایک الگ دنیا رکھتا ہے۔ بعض لوگ پابندیوں میں بہت اچھے دکھائی دیتے ہیں، مگر آزادی ملتے ہی ان کا اصل رویہ سامنے آ جاتا ہے۔ اسی طرح کچھ لوگ عزت ملنے کے بعد مزید عاجزی، وفاداری اور خلوص کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہیں۔ اس لیے کسی کے کردار کو سمجھنے کے لیے اسے اعتماد، عزت اور آزادی دینا ایک بہترین آزمائش ہے۔ یہ شاعری ہمیں ایک گہرا سبق دیتی ہے کہ انسان کو صرف اس کے الفاظ سے نہیں بلکہ اس کے عمل سے پہچانا چاہیے۔ جو شخص عزت پا کر بھی دوسروں کی عزت کرے اور آزادی ملنے کے باوجود اپنی حدود اور رشتوں کا خیال رکھے، وہی حقیقی معنوں میں باکردار انسان ہے۔ اصل شخصیت وہی ہے جو اختیار ملنے کے بعد بھی انسانیت، وفاداری اور احترام کا دامن ہاتھ سے نہ چھوڑے۔ A person’s true character cannot be judged merely by their words or outward behavior.
