I have a son in missions overseas… We cannot fathom how pure joy can reside in the same room as hunger, and the basic human need for nourishment; the cognitive dissonance is too great! But joy, praise and worship flow abundantly from the mouths of the hungry! Why, in our land of abundance, do the rocks cry out in our place. 💔

A while back I saw a post of someone that visited a squatter camp . They interviewed the people . They asked a child , when do you think a person is rich. And the child said, when you have more than one meal per day. I can never forget that. We have to pray and do what we can. Every little bit helps.
