As a Special Needs Teacher here’s a few things you can do. 1 Allow him to have his own special time with the toys when he doesn’t have to fight his siblings. It doesn’t have to be a long time— just his Special Time! This will encourage him to keep playing! 2. Keep integrating him in with his siblings one at a time so he doesn’t get so overwhelmed! 3. Make a perch for him to stand on when he’s trying to reach higher places and toys. He can use a ramp to slide to the perch. 4. You can also teach the other cats to give him a chance as well! You’d be surprise how well the understand. Talk to them about his disability. 5. Don’t give up! Give Dan praise & encourage him. Every time he accomplishes something make a big deal about him letting him know how happy you are!
