One time not long after opening, I went to a new Hy-Vee and bought a weird cheese to try it was gross. It had expired 3 weeks before I bought it. I was PISSED that store was 40 minutes/miles away. It would have cost more to drive there than return it

is it just me, or has this been happening more frequently than EVER. I've seen so much stuff past its best buy date on the shelves recently.

I’ve been trying to remind myself to check the dates on everything - even things I’ve never thought of bc my husband bought some boxed pasta thing that was months/a year expired.
