i loved theo, i really did, but i’m not sure that people understood the point of his character. he was there to show eloise she can be an independant woman AND have romantic feelings for someone at the same time. most of bridgerton siblings have gone throught the phase where they liked someone else before finding their soulmate. for eloise that is theo. a lot of people are saying “if they changed michael to michaela, they can change the story so eloise ends up with theo” but the thing is, with francesca story it is a gender swap with evident changes to the story, but for eloise it would be like writing a whole new book and changing her entire story.
