Inarizaki is my favourite due to the many contrasting mindsets.The captains focus on the process compared to the twins focus on the results. Even the subtle but huge differences in the way the miya twins perceive volleyball is just beautiful.

I love that there are no villians or even antagonists in haikyuu. Everyone just wants to win and they all understand that, so the rivals are also developed as characters. Also, not everyone strives to be the very best at all costs like in other sports animes, some just love volleyball but have other plans for their lives
