my grandpa was an american soldier before he was even an american citizen so no i will never disrespect the soldiers that fought for this country and i will carry his love for this country with me bc i wouldn’t be here td if he didn’t love this country enough to risk his life for it (in case people are confused on the beginning my grandpa was born and raised in canada but decided he wanted to move to america, we were in the vietnam war at the time so they told him he could either fight in the war or go back to canada and never step foot in america again. he chose to fight for this country, sadly america didn’t think that was enough and he still had to go through the whole process to become an american citizen but he did it all because he loved america)

The pledge has nothing to do with soldiers tho?? Is it not literally a pledge which means you align yourself with the us as a citizen and its actions? “For liberty n justice for all” they’re literally not upholding it themselves and your standing for it to prove what exactly…?
