@annavatuone: FROM THE DRAFTS! Oh my gosh how I wish I could give myself the biggest hug here 😭🫶🏻 My nausea was truly debilitating. I’ve never experienced anything like it before - I just remember waking up in the morning and wanting to go directly back to sleep so I wouldn’t have to experience it anymore. If you’re in this place — I see you and I feel you. You’re not alone. It won’t be this way forever. I’m now 15 weeks and starting to feel better a little more each day. We can do this! #pregnancy #pregnancynausea #firsttrimester #firsttrimestersymptoms #firsttimemom
How do people go to work like this 😭 I have 2 weeks off and I just want to quit instead I don’t know how I’m supposed to work like this

you’re not overreacting it really is that horrible, being hungry and not being able to eat is mentally exhausting. Nausea is such a horrible feeling

No girl, it is that serious. It’s horrific and makes you feel so hopeless and depressed. It definitely does get better but it’s also important to surrender to how bad it is, to let yourself rest and stay bed bound as long as you need.

Pregnancy is an extremely lonely time. It is something a partner — even the best of them, will never understand. In those first twelve weeks it’s even harder as many don’t share publicly until first tri. You’re doing great!!!

Currently 6 weeks and I felt this to my core…I feel like such a burden with my emotions because of this…everyone keeps saying “it’s all normal” “it’ll pass” but living in this body right now is miserable and I feel like no one gets it.😭

i’m 12 weeks pregnant and I feel like I can’t handle this anymore. I feel so lonely in this process—everyone around me seems happy, but I’m not. I’ve been feeling really sick, and it’s overwhelming.

You aren’t stupid. I cried every day during my first trimester with both pregnancies. Zofran, crackers, and chicken noodle soup was the only thing I could do to help. If you can’t keep liquids down, make sure your doc knows so you don’t get dehydrated 🩷

Because the nausea is having such a awful effect on me I’ve told my husband this baby will probably be our only one because I never want to experience this horrible and debilitating nausea again

8.5 weeks and I’ve been nauseous for 3 weeks. I cried today too. It’s awful. If I don’t eat I feel sick, if I eat I feel sick.

I hope you are okay. No need to “toughen” up. It’s f debilitating and the mental side is rough. Maybe try talk to your dr, I have HG and am on 5 different meds and finally feeling a bit of relief. I’m sorry Mum 💛

So validating, it is truly debilitating and going to work and acting normal is nearly impossible.

Remember when running that first mile was really hard? And then it got easier. This too shall pass. Give yourself grace to experience it without judgement

This was me. Nausea, retching and food aversion was the worst. I could only tolerate water and crackers. I only found relief after 5 months.
