Now I’m actively changing it to more 🇵🇦. ⬇️Now here’s how you can get an accent⬇️ 🗣️ Imitating the accent 🗣️ Word for word practicing the intonation and nuances of the language. You can’t get an accent if you don’t practice it. BUT HOW DO YOU DO IT?! 🎶 - The music - 🎶 You can learn slang and the flow of the accent through the music. There may be a lot of word cutting and slang but that’s how you learn! More often than not it sounds good too! 🎙️ - Interviews/podcasts - 🎙️ This is hearing the language in a different setting without beats and although there will be word cutting, it won’t be as bad. You can hear the intonation and flow of the accent in a conversational style as opposed to the music. Especially if you can’t directly talk to anyone from the country, using podcasts and interviews help you gain an ear in the flow of the language.
