Try cooking dinner for all of u and eating at the same time , frees up your evening a bit more , I’ve always done this with my boys n as they got older it was a chance to chat about their day etc x

My girl started becoming extremely upset when I put her down to bed so I started standing by the cot for a few minutes then gradually I’d go lay on my own bed until she slept, I think it’s separation anxiety but 1 rule is I won’t talk beyond saying mummy’s still here. She’s doing a lot better now 2 weeks later. She’s 17 months old

my son went through this at 17 months old now coming out of at, turned 18 momth last week, was holding him for upto 2 and half hours a night! he was napping 2 hours before I changed it to an hour and a half, it was like dropping down got us through it, now he can nap longer again, maxing out sleep pressure was the only way things settled down dor us x

I definitely think separation anxiety is a big part of it, sprinkled with sleep regression of course 😅 My little girl did this last month (she was 16 months) but it peaked at the time her Dad had gone away for a week for work and it would take me up to 2 hours to get her to go to sleep 😩 xx

Omg this happened to us 3 weeks ago and lasted 2 weeks almost we started at 8pm she ended up sleeping at 11pm 😩😩 couldn’t put her down she would wake up instantlyyy and thought mummy bed was play time!

This is my 9m old. Who already didn’t sleep. Thought it finally got better then bam whatever this stage has hit, single mum since giving birth and I’m broken :( how do you stay so good

How old is he? There is usually a big sleep regression around 18 months that entails what your describing, it can last 3-6 weeks from what I’ve read xx

omg my 18 month old is THE SAME! takes like an hour for him to finally close his eyes and sleep, they are rolling to the back of his head but he just won't keep them closed 🤣🤣🤣 and sometimes he'd do a split night and decide to be awake for 3 hours middle of the night just staring at the dark wall 😭🤣

Ahhhh I’m in the same boat, the last 10 days I’ve literally done a walk with her jn the pram to get my little girl to sleep because I just can’t cope with the huge meltdowns every bedtime now she fights it soooo hard like 2+ hours of it 😭🫠 she’s 14 months and I’m so in the thick of it I can’t see a way out, you aren’t alone!! Hope it passes soon 😮💨 Xx

my boy is the same age and been going through the same thing, bedtime is now 9-9:30pm, wakes up at 7am and naps for an hour in the day 🙃 he does the sad "cuddle" too but that cuddle has to be him laying on top of me, he won't accept any other kind of cuddle!!!

Sounds like sleep regression my boy goes through these so hard, he’s almost 18 months, we’ve been battling for about 8 weeks but it’s slowly getting better again 🙈

my 18 month old keeps refusing his day naps. I swear 18 months is too young to drop all naps. I put him to bed at 7pm tonight and he was asleep by 7:06. clearly still needs the nap but just doesn't want to!!😅
