Naahh it rly depends on the people (and their age) I think when I lived in Belgium I did see quite some people wearing it but it’s true that it’s way less common to see people wearing hats than it is in America

We mainly wear hats on special occasions when we expect to be out in the sun a lot, like on a day trip to an amusement park, a festival or the coast, when playing golf..., but not so much on a day to day basis. Its more common among certain groups of young people, but for most of us it's a tool, not a part of the fashion attire.
