My in-laws wanted us to have another kid, I said yes if they wanted to pay for all daycare and an addition on our house. They haven't asked since.

Here's the difference; You don't expect the grandparents to help you, they DO. They expect to have 3+ kids and get financial support from EVERYONE. They expect to come first just bc they have kids

I'm a parent who's in there thirties. If my parents were able to help me, then I believe they should be also equally able to help my little brother who doesn't have kids and isn't married. like.... I should not have priority only because I have kids. and if my parents think that way that's unfair to my brother. The logic is pretty clear to me I don't know why it's unclear to other people 🤔
