@itsjustcinema: Alfonso Cuarón’s “Y tu mamá también” isn’t just one of my favorite road movies, but it’s one of my favorite movies period. #cinema #filltok #whattowatch #cinematography #criterioncollection
I absolutely love Y tu mamá también. what about Little Miss Sunshine? I think it counts as a road movie and is also one of the best ever...

Someone said the plot was two closeted guys never talk again and I’ve never ever thought that was even close to the plot. Thought it was an adventure movie

So, The Road did not make it intro this list and I am, in fact, really mad about it.
On the other hand, Y Tu Mamá También is such a great movie! I totally forgot about it

This movie made my cry so much. I was the only one in the theater, an 11 am show. I was in NYC. It was me and the movie and the characters. I will never forget that experience.

I watched - no crying - the tragic happens off screen, way after the story climax. You don't experience the event, very anticlimactic

Cuaron’s best film imo. He would next do the very best Harry Potter movie and despite WB’s wanting him to make more, he left to do the awesome Children of Men. Talent, curiosity, and integrity…so rare for a lot of directors of his stature.

I watched this at the movies when it came out and it is one of the handful of times that I immediately bought another ticket for the next show to view it again. My others: Silence of the Lambs, Blair Witch, The Cell, and Carol.
