Unfortunately, our place is just too small to properly de-center the TV and solid concrete walls make wall mounting a frame TV challenging, but putting a room divider behind the TV helps to provide some layering in the space that makes it feel cozier and less "TV against a wall." Not a perfect solution, but I like watching my design shows too much to give up the TV altogether. 😂 Layered lighting, especially dimmable and color adjustable lighting is definitely the way to go though! I love my Hue lights - it's so nice to be able to turn down the brightness to 1% or make the temperature warmer.
