The problem is, britishness and English/ British culture is so widespread and intertwined with the world, people don’t recognise it. They think it’s just normal and that’s just how the world is, so when they look at England they don’t see the unique culture/ history. So they disregard. We tried to serve everyone and now, as a result, we don’t even serve our own.
