@afrikanhairgod: Weren't y'all the same ones that said hairstyles can't make you look more mature? Guess when it's the opposite that goes out the window huh?
Nobody bullied them😭😭 all they’re saying is that they feel the barrettes are for younger children…

As grown women wear baby hairs and space buns and hearts in their braids . But the kids can’t wear barrettes .

I really thought I’d wake up and people would’ve come to their senses. Let’s just be honest, if those little girls had long, loose curls, there wouldn’t even be a debate. No outrage, no “concern,” no think pieces. First natural hair was called “childish” so people avoided wearing it, and now children are actually wearing their natural hair and it’s still a problem? So which is it? Let’s just say the quiet part out loud: a lot of women in our community simply don’t see type 4 hair as worthy of being worn as is, and that’s the real conversation nobody wants to have.

saying they’re to old for barrettes in the 5th grade…and showing their hairstyles back then. Alot of them don’t realize the hair styles they wanted is rooted in looking like somebody else 😂😂

THANK YOU! my 12 yr old said if they like it it shouldn't be grown ups business, if a CHILD can come to that conclusion these "adults" should be able to. The only reason kids don't like it is bc they over hear their parents dog a child out online.

Oooooo Ive been thinking this but I didn’t wanna come out as “seeking male validation” although I’m a lesbian who’s only been sexually attracted to women and doesn’t interact with men outside my dad 😵
