@pinkponycreative: POV: @Meghan Trainor asked you to design her tour merch 👀 Yes… she literally commented. Before anyone gets excited, this is a fun conceptual project only and is not affiliated with Meghan or her team (a girl can dream). When Meghan commented on my video to create her some tour merch next, of course I had too. So I researched her new aesthetic/brand; barbie-esque, frills, soft leathers, high gloss latex and subtle ‘toy’ motifs. So, naturally I leaned right into this but shifted the perspective slightly so that they became statement pieces and accessories that lived beyond the concert and designed in a way that was part of the wardrobe and not just a memory. Pieces you’d actually style into your everyday wardrobe, not just wear once and archive. Because realistically… not everyone’s walking around in a latex bodysuit (even if I fully support it). What do we think? Honestly, these videos are slightly outside my usual branding for business realm but they’re so fun to create. There’s something so exciting about taking someones aesthetic and building out a full merch world around it in a creative way.
