You should check out the Nostalgic Madeira Wine show at the Madeira Wine Institute on Thursdays at 9pm. It's such a great show, the musicians are so so talented, the environment is chill and friendly, and the show is so much fun! You can enjoy the show along with some complimentary Madeira Wine, the hostesses are so nice and they give a small introduction before every song so you can understand and connect with the culture. The songs aren't folklore, but they are traditional Madeiran songs. I actually didn’t know Madeira had such a lovely variety of songs and styles traditional to the culture. I usually only see folklore or just Hotels singers doing karaoke. Hardly ever find decent live musicians anymore. So I really really enjoyed this show! I totally reccomend! 1000/10 best way to end your day!
