How come your machine works smooth without you needing to pull the fabric from both sides? My machines don’t sew unless I help them (and they’re in great shape)

Every time I watch you make a bikini and you sew the edges, I’m always shocked at how much smaller it gets because I know my fat behind would need 3 times the fabric. I love watching you though! When I finally decide to learn to use my sewing machine, I can’t wait to try some of the stuff you make. You make it seem so easy!
