It is meant to keep your leg straight until you allowed to start bending it. A little uncomfortable to sleep in for sure. Best advice to stand up, for me, was sliding to the edge of the bed, then use the crutches to lift yourself up.

Toss the crutches and use a walker! Safer and easier. Can use it as a stool for your leg!

how do you keep your top one down snug on your leg 😭 I get it situated right and then I walk two feet and sit down and it's not tight to my thigh and it's allowing my leg to bend

There was a period of time I was locked out in my brace, keeping it straight. I had a really hard time with my quad activating after surgery. I looped my stretch master strap through the bottom strap and tucked the top of it in upper the thigh strap. It really helped with getting up out of areas and especially getting into the car! Also great just in general having it around and being able to stretch anywhere when you can unlock the brace:)

This was super helpful, thank you! I fractured my tibial plateau and they werent very informative with the brace, kind of told me to make sure I wear it but that I dont have to for showers and sleep so Ive been struggling with readjusting it. This is a life saver video!
