Interesting that you put Taylor Swift as an example. I believe she is actually a gateway. She brings conservative women to yt woman feminism. I agree TS isn’t inclusive feminism. I see her as a stepping stone. I used to think it was good, but idk if yt feminism is helping anything more than conservatism is. It is easier to teach a yt feminist about inclusivity than a conservative, tho. Yt women have to come to terms with decentering themselves and exploring ego death.

hey so i am a nonbinary native person whose white femisnist ex (a woman) had no issue kicking me out in the street when it came down to pick either her comfort and me having to choose my flavor of hell between being homeless with ICE in the area or moving back with my abusive parents. so yeah, you could say I know how white feminism isn't as progressive as they think it is, its not all white people, but the most fucked things that have happened to me came via white person .

While originally feminism was to push for equality between the sexes, there was that problem of racism creeping into it as that was the era. Modern feminism however has evolved and now seeks equality between everyone regardless of sex, gender identity, race or sexuality.

Yes! My feminist framework became so much more robust when I moved away from choice feminism/white feminism and the idea of equality, and into the liberation of all women above all else and the dismantling of patriarchy/white supremacy/capitalism all going hand in hand.
