I was taught by my indian grandma. never eat food from others especially if they say "I made this for you." she said even if they make it infront of you, the intentions can be whispered. Food is a spell- spices, herbs and words.

My grandmother rest in peace, she did not eat food from strangers. She would tell me, don’t eat food from people you don’t know, that can also be your family or close friends.
