@rusvladstefan: 🌿 From Empty Corner to Stunning Herb Spiral 🌿 What started as a bare patch of soil turned into a thriving, multi-level herb spiral 🌱✨ By building upward with natural stone, we created different microclimates in one small space. The top stays warmer and drier—perfect for rosemary, lavender, and sage. Lower levels hold more moisture, ideal for basil, mint, parsley, thyme, oregano, chamomile, and chives. More flavor. Better drainage. Smarter use of space. One compact design… endless fresh herbs right outside your door 🌿🏡

keep mint in a spot for itself because it will take over once roots spread but I may just do this with all the other herbs!!

Speaking from experience, if you don’t mortar those stones in, it’s going to fall apart. The soil expands and shrinks even with drainage

From what I understand it’s a good thing to put gravel down first before the soil for better drainage.
