@seantravelonpoints: You can book Japan Airlines first class from ORD to Tokyo for as low as 114k points plus tax (one way) with a current Chase transfer bonus. Here’s how: 1. Make a British Airways account 2. Do an Avios search from ORD to Tokyo about 355 days in advance (or as far in advance as the site will let you go) 3. Find the first class availability for 136,500 Avios and $200 4. Transfer to Avios from any major credit card (with chase’s current March transfer bonus, you’d only need to send 114k miles) 5. Go back to BA once your points have transferred and book! 6.
