I think “speak or die” is actually reversed. “Speak” means letting a version of yourself die, letting go, even if you don’t know what comes next. And “die” isn’t literal, it’s staying the same… and slowly losing yourself. Maybe the real question is: Do you dare to let go and maybe find yourself again? Or do you hold on, even if it means losing parts of yourself?
