What the customer doesn’t see is behind the scenes , the shopping for ingredients, the preparation, the cooking , the presentation, containers, cutlery, then delivering , ensuring decoration match the theme, all the hours spent before hand, all the money spent before it even gets to the venue, I’m sure this would be a lovely hobby for someone however it is a business , everyone charges for there service just how you wouldn’t be expected to work for free.

It’s honestly shocking how many people think a full event setup like this should cost £500 or less, yet they’ll happily spend £600–£700 on just roti, salan and chawal 😅 For something like this, I’d personally charge £30 - £45PH depending on the items and quantities. This is a whole service, you’re not just paying for food, you’re paying for the full experience. The planning, the styling, the sourcing, the setup, the pack-down, the creativity, the behind-the-scenes work no one sees… it all adds up. It’s time, effort, skill and vision.

Soo abt 12/15 burgers max for 50 people. Abt 25 samosas the rest i see are white bread sandwiches and spring rolls… nobody there had their fill or some did and others ate nothing

£500 is definitely reasonable for 50 guests allahumma barik - if you look at the stuff made, purchasing the items will cost you £200 approx and the rest is labour

Guys some of yall can do these set ups by yourself I get it but some people do not have that talent, time or cooking and they have the budget for it so that is what this business is for. I agree it’s not for everyone but let’s not trash talk them now that’s rude.
