In my 20s and 30s, I was grinding, chasing all the “success” boxes. But in my 40s? None of that is worth a single fucking dollar to me now. At 45, I don’t care about climbing the corporate ladder anymore. I’d rather have less on my plate than constantly trying to overachieve. I’ve shifted how I see life, I focus on me, myself, and I, and protecting my peace.
