Point shoes don’t cost 200 dollars or euros or quid they are around 80-100 and they might last a month or a day depending on the dancer. And we don’t use a grater for grip

I used to darn the bottom of my shoes for extra grip and helped keep them longer but that takes alot of time. also you have to bend the shoe shaft of you have no flex
