I am guilty of this. I always wait for the teacher to call cos the headmistress always calls when she doesnt see one of them but i know better now.

Mine was out of school for 2 weeks .. I forget to tell them because I was busy with hospital visits and I thought it will be a 1 day visit then turn to 2 weeks , no call from the school admin, class teacher or assistant.. only the bus driver came to check on her and also calls from time to time …. When we resumed I changed her class and told the proprietor my reason and she was equally disappointed then she approved the change of class for her
