No fishing license needed when only Bank Fishing inside Texas State Parks! If planning to fish from either a kayak, canoe, boat, etc… you are required by Texas state law to have one.

Living in other states, it’s weird that you pay to enter a state park in Texas—I’m from Dallas. You pay taxes to go towards these places, the same way we can call fire and police and they are funded through taxes. 😐
