There is a guy who came into my life recently. We are both the same age, but he is muslim. He likes me, and it almost feels like I have known this guys way longer than I actually have known him for. I am praying for him that he would come to know Jesus Christ because I want him to turn to Christ. But, this whole situation has just been so interesting

My relationship was perfect in the beginning. Came out of no where then slowly he started pulling away. But I didn’t understand why. I thought it was me. I was ready to be a wife. I was ready to change my life for him… I was sinning too. But after I stepped away we both couldn’t let go. I asked God what do I do. All I heard is do you trust me. I said yes and then he said give him to me. So I stepped back and tried. I prayed god would bring us back together when the time is right. When he finally chooses himself and what he wants, he’ll choose me when the time is right. He is the love of my life. My other half. But I idolized marriage and sin. I fell so deep that I was okay with that. Until I walked away…. I’ve been finding Jesus again. I’ve been praying for both of us. Because he fell into deep depression and I couldn’t get him out for about a year. So I stepped away and prayed. Today I found out he signed up for school and is finally choosing himself. I am so happy for him and I’m truly glad he’s getting out of that state. Now I just need to stand back more and let god do his work. I need to focus on him not idolizing marriage. Because when the time is right ,” I the lord will make it happen.”

I was sad but used it as experience. 4 months later, I get offered an incredible opportunity that is everything I wanted. The job start date lines up with my move for the property my fiancee and i bought 3 months ago, my 33rd birthday and our wedding. GOD IS INCREDIBLE. Literally everything ive ever wanted, handed to me in a single week by the grace of our holy father, the holy ghost, jesus christ.

Crying my eyes out because this is EXACTLY what I've been feeling. Those exact words: recalibration and unfolding have been the words I've been hearing. My favorite non-biblical quote is from a poet who loved God which says, "Where I am folded, there I am a lie." and I recently prayed that I wanted to unfold. You said so many specific phrases that I have prayed or said out loud that I can't deny this message. 😭
