@kotaterritory: RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - A Spearfish man is dead after a crash Saturday night on Interstate 90 in Lawrence County, according to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety. Around 8:05 p.m., a 65-year-old Spearfish man was driving westbound on I-90 when he took Exit 10 to the intersection with U.S. 85 and continued west across U.S. 85, entering the west ditch. The vehicle vaulted a fence and traveled into the Brook View Road ditch, where the SUV overturned and the driver was ejected. South Dakota Highway Patrol responded to the scene. The driver, who was operating a 2012 Toyota Highlander, was transported to Monument Health Spearfish, where he was pronounced dead. Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash. The man’s name is being withheld pending notification of family members.
