Poor little Amelia 😢 I’ve heard putting onion in their bedroom helps with a cough but I haven’t tried it myself. I hope she feels better soon!

I used to put pillows under their mattress near the top so they lay down elevated to help drainage & it seemed to help the coughing fits too. Good luck Momma. ❤️

Asthma parent and childcare worker- humidifier in the room. Steam up the bathroom and sit in there for 10 minutes. Maybe also get a ox monitor to see what her oxygen level is.

What my mom does to relieve some throat pain and remove phlegm is she takes honey (preferably honey that natural and not from the grocery store, but it still works with either) she heats it up on medium-low heat and adds onion. Let it simmer with the honey for a few minutes or until you can smell it combined with the honey. Then remove it from the heat and let it cool but keep it warm. Add some lime if they don’t like the onion flavor and it works really well!
