Siguro hindi talaga para sa’kin ang US. Mag-8 years na ako dito sa Qatar as a Dialysis Nurse, pero hindi ko pa rin nakikita ang sarili ko na magwo-work doon. Anyway, ingat kayo palagi diyan. 😊

Been a nurse in Qatar too.. maganda benefits, yes but work and work life balance 👎👎👎masarap sana tumira doon kung hindi grabe ang stress lalo sa ICU.... dito naman sa US , work and life balance 👍👍👍👍 but the bills are too much! may PROS and CONS talaga :)

hindi sagot ng US employer yung bahay mo tubing, kuryente at iba pa.. May tax din sa sweldo mo sa US.. pwede mo ba sabihin gaano kalaki ang difference sa sweldo after lahat ng kaltas at gastos?

Maganda sa middle east, no tax kaso ung feeling na hindi ka naman kasi pwede magsettle dahil wala naman citizenship na inooffer ang mga GCC countries, ending uuwi ka prin ng pinas. While sa US, pwede ka maging citizen and be settled there.

Disclaimer: I worked at Hamad Hospital in Qatar and those are the benefits for nurses. Not sure po other hospitals in Qatar. It depends on your goals kung san “better” and will work for you. I love Qatar, best days! Comfortable life. But our family’s goals were aligned with US. And we were humbled with our experience. Work life balance in US apparently works for me. No oncalls, no surprise/unwanted OT. Self scheduling works for me. Ako din mismo pipili ng pick up shift/OT if I would like to. So far, it’s worth it here 🇺🇸

The main difference; In Qatar you work to save and build a better life in the Philippines. In the US you work and bring your family over to build a better life in the US.

Sa Qatar, passport matters.. kung ano nationality mo, dun nakabase ang sahod. So pinili namin mag USA, then pag citizen na kami, anytime pwede bumalik sa qatar with higher salary rate and benfits.

I am from America and personally talk to someone here they said they prepared working in Qatar. Money goes to their pockets while here in the US so much bills higher taxes etc

I worked in Qatar for 10years. Doing quality job sa Hamad. But after 10years i chose US. Why? I dont know why.. all I know after I reach 60 thats it. Done kna sa Qatar. I miss the hob though. 😉
