Ah, it's amazing when scientists say "we don't know". I just love the honesty but I also love the fact they have evidence for their theories and are actively trying to find answers. Not spouting "Something we have no proof of did it all".

Since the universe expands faster than the speed of light, does that mean the expansion past a certain extent just dead empty dark space?

if you had a big bang then there will be an age to the expansion.

Excuse me Mr Tyson I saw an idea like this in fantastic 4 first steps and it got me wondering could we have a halo made up of boosters in orbit with solar panels on it so that it could charge forever until a rocket needs them in which a space shuttle would dock inside of the ring of boosters to propel the rocket so we could go further into space and then since they're reusable what's stopping us from making a trail of them slowly overtime throughout our solar system.

I was wondering, what’s below and above us and how far does that go? We always talk about sending probes, satellites out AROUND us in the universe, but what if we go straight down below the South Pole?

could aliens be way closer than we imagined...well (millions of light-years away) but not is a distant galaxy or universe. I mean in our milkyway. think about it. like takes time to travel. and if we look at a planet thousands of light-years away. we're only seeing that planet as it was 1000 years ago. not how it is now. which means a planet. only 1 million light-years away could hold life. we just can't see it yet.

Mr Neil, since starlight takes hundreds of years to reach us and stars are constantly moving through space. Are the stars actually in different positions now than where we see them? And do you know whether astrologers adjust their system or their so-called predictions to account for this?

What if it’s a “Truman show” situation where all we’re traveling through space it actually hit a physical wall it’s black. It looks like the rest of the universe around us so we go through the wall.

I asked Chat to explain why we can see the Milky Way Galaxy while we’re in it & I’d love to hear your explanation??

MR. NEIL! 👋 Can you explain at what point while traveling straight up above ground on a fixed path, does earth’s rotation start to move beyond that object’s fixed path?

Was our big bang actually the creation of a black hole that we are in?

plus we arent even "seeing" what is actually there. We are seeing our ancestor galaxies. That would be more like time traveling. We can't even go those old galaxies far away bc they literally had to explode to make new elements and new stars to explode to make new galaxies...and on and on. We are probably just chilling out of the horizon site of some future galaxies that will never know we exist/ed

Ok, it's expanding. And MAYBE there's an edge. Well what exactly are we expanding INTO? What's past the hypothetical edge?? 😳😳
