There’s a really small book store in fidi across the Barry’s. He has used books for sale and it’s such a small store. Like it’s a sliding door

City Lights is a designated landmark with a storied history. They’ve focused on supporting SF and Indie movements since opening; I’d highly suggest reading into their history to enjoy your experience there more!

Not a bookstore, but everybody should know about Mechanics Library in Fidi that is 170 years old. It is a private membership based library in a beautiful art deco building for $10 a month.
