You can’t equate tokens with single thoughts. A single human thought would be thousands of tokens. And many of those thoughts are (to extend the analogy) self-prompting, so unless you have no initiative at all, the numbers are very different. But your point still stands: the lines are converging for sure

This is interesting and it’s probably what many CEOs are going off of and celebrating over them cost saving. That being said there’s already reports of AI fudging numbers, doing things they should not be doing and erroring in ways that would be normally caught by humans.
