@anabelle.vangiller: Homemade brown sugar is one of those little kitchen wins that just feels right. Two ingredients. Less than five minutes. No last-minute grocery run. Soft, rich, perfectly sweet and once you make it yourself, youโll never buy it again. Keep it in a jar and thank yourself later. Recipe is as simple as mixing molasses into sugarโฆ but Iโll show you exactly how I do it below. ๐๐ผ Brown Sugar Combine 2 cups organic cane sugar with 2-4 tbsp molasses (depending on how dark you want it) in a stand mixer. Mix until it is well combined! For every cup of sugar, add one more tablespoon of molasses!! Storage & Shelf Life: Store in an airtight jar in a cool, dry place. It will stay fresh for at least 6โ12 months at room temperature. Realistically much longer as long as no moisture is introduced. โข โข โข โข #homemade #Recipe #fromscratch #sugar #simple
Iโve wanted to do this for YEARS but tbh in the grocery store Iโm too lazy to track down the one ingredient I need- molasses๐ this is my sign to get it next time I go grocery shopping! I can make beef Wellington and fancy sourdough but apparently not something this easy๐
