This is why I’m not doing this. My ferritin was a 3 (fibroids/heavy periods) and Dr suggested it. Your body NEEDS retinol and copper to move iron around to the appropriate places. If I take an infusion without the items needed to process it, I’ll be sick.

i was just discharged from a 7 day hosoital stay. blood and iron but i had a dufferent reaction iron made me feel alive again. 😳. i havent had no side effect 🤞🏼

If you guys haven’t been checked for celiac I found out my anemia was caused by asymptomatic celaic! I had such a horrible reaction to iron infusion I don’t know if I can do it again

I have my first infusion next week and my Dr told me reactions aren’t always typical but she wanted me to know because patients whose numbers are as low as mine typically get sick. It’s because we are so depleted. So now I’m definitely planning for it after this.

🤔I had allergic reaction to all iron infusion and pills. The only thing doctors told me is, Try to get your iron from food🙄.

I am getting Venofer in 200mg doses. 5 infusions over the course of 9 days to equal 1000mg. Please don’t spread false information in saying that Venofer is given in one dose, because it’s not.
