Yes. You are right. It makes no sense to me as well. I’m just trying to raise my child to think for himself and to question everting.

Absolutely! I’m 50, 4 children and married for 25 years. Met a woman and have had the biggest lightbulb moment! It all makes sense now… ❤️🌈

Live your truth! As long as you’re comfortable in your own skin and confident in what you believe in and stand for, nothing else matters! Live your life. Haters will always hate

Glad you are who you are. Out at 19 and never looked back. Lost friends and family but not myself. Live in your truth.

And so crazy that we have to do all this just to be ourselves. I totally get all of this. I love your posts! Thank you! 🙏🌈💕

As an exmo I came out at 23 and knew I was gay for sure at 17. It was quite the adjustment to say the least.

Good for you following your own path and feelings. A lot of people struggle to find that strength

Thank you so much for sharing this. It’s amazing how our own cultures that we grew up in can just be this puzzle of being like “nope” we will no longer ignore ourselves.

I came out at 28 and I never felt happier ever since. And yes religion and society kept my true self hidden... We live in a such a mad world and it's sad. Best we can do is to trust our intuition, live our truth and learn self-love.

I came out just over a year ago, after a 17 yr marriage that never fit or felt right and continuing to say I was bi felt like as big a lie as the hetero marriage. And you are so correct that I am deconstructing decades of religion, family, social perceptions and expectations while trying to live regular life. I feel like we would relate so well irl 🫂

I’ve walked a similar path but at 42. Deconstructing Mormonism was a lot more difficult for me than coming out was.
