@jayprehistoricpets: That stuck eye cap had to go👀 This big girl is a Burmese python and when snakes shed their skin they also shed the clear scale that covers their eye🙌 Sometimes if the humidity isn’t perfect that eye cap can stay stuck which can affect their vision and even lead to infection😳 Burmese pythons rely heavily on their senses to navigate and hunt so having clear vision is very important🤯 You always have to be gentle and patient when removing something like this because you never want to damage the eye underneath👀 These giants may be powerful apex predators but proper care is what keeps them healthy and thriving in captivity🙌 Little details like this make a huge difference in the long run and that’s why reptile care is so important😤🐍
