I would have added a two more valves and made a bypass great installation but you would still need to shut down the house in case anything happen to that softener leaving the homeowner without water

Wow!!!! In AZ you can’t have any pex exposed to any sunlight at all. I know different codes in different states.

Looks good. Your supply house is awesome for bringing the parts to you. I always install a backwater valve before the p trap to prevent cross contamination in the event of a whole house sewer backup.
