HELP ME find a FOSTER in SAN DIEGO for Garnet!! #A5799228 ✨✨Comment or message me if you can help!! ✨✨ Looking for someone w dog experience - she is very dog friendly (came in w sister) but was a little reactive to pushy dogs in the shelter. She didn’t do anything, just didn’t like it. She is NOT aggressive at all. We need someone who understands dogs. ✨✨Garnet is on the euthanasia list and can be put down at any moment. Budlong Avenue She was easy to leash, but darted out of the kennel eagerly. She pulled moderately on leash while bypassing the other kennels, and was easy to collar. In the catch pen, her body was neutral, her eyes were soft, and her tail was neutral. She entered the yard, and exchanged appropriate greetings with the other dogs. She immediately became over-reactive when one of the dogs greeted her in a pushy manner. She was easy to correct. She roamed the yard, and became pushy with the other dogs when she approached them. She was barrier reactive when a new dog entered the catch pen, and had to be moved to the side yard before the other dog entered the main yard. She spent some time in the side yard to decompress before she was allowed to enter the yard again. She greeted the other dogs in a pushy manner, but was able to coexist with no significant issues. She solicited petting from the handlers.
