I remember standing in front of the mirror, forcing a smile, simply because I was more comfortable living a lie than allowing the people I loved to see my pain. I thought that by hiding my struggle, I was being strong. In reality, I was just disappearing. Losing my hand wasn't just a physical injury; it was a mental war. For the first few years, I wore a mask of "okay" while I was drowning. That unresolved trauma turned me into someone I didn't recognize—I became angry, I pushed people away, and I let my pain dictate my actions. I’m sharing this video today because I am finally standing on the other side of that darkness. I’m not that person anymore. I want to show you the side of this journey that stays in the shadows. To anyone walking a similar path: it is okay to be broken. It is okay to feel the weight of your emotions. We are human, and there is no shame in the struggle—that is where real life happens. It took 29 years to finally start making changes and become the man I am meant to be, and that growth requires me to do the hard work of healing from the inside out. Do I still have insecurities about my hand? Of course. That doesn't just vanish. But my confidence now is rooted in something deeper than my physical appearance; it’s rooted in my resilience.
