@rewirewithmilli: your platform glitches might not be a coincidence...for those who don't know the burnt toast theory, the idea is simple: if you burn your toast in the morning, the extra minute you spend remaking it makes you miss your bus - which ended up in an accident, or some situation you were never meant to be in. it's the universe, god, or whoever you believe in, protecting you. i realized this applies exactly to trading. there were so many times my account would freeze, i couldn't log into my platform, i had internet issues, or my trades just wouldn't fill. i used to get so angry. i'd have crazy fomo, panic because i thought i was missing my "perfect trade," and frantically try to fix whatever the issue was just to rush in. and guess what - these trades were never good. they were always driven by emotion, and i always ended up blowing my account or having a massive red day. i'd be furious about the technical issues. but the glitch was never the problem. the glitch was the message. i just wasn't listening. but i finally learned to read these signs. now, whenever my platform freezes or my tech glitches, i know it’s the universe speaking to me. giving me a hint that this trade isn't for me - and almost always, that sign is right, because the trade would've been outside of my plan anyway. and now i always listen to that sign! maybe this has happened to you too and you never looked at it this way. so the next time things don't go right, don't panic. just remember, the burnt toast theory is there to protect you. don't fight it. take the sign, walk away, and come back later. it's not a missed opportunity. it's the highest power speaking directly to you, protecting you. let me know in the comments if you've received these signs in the past. #tradingjourney #tradingtips #howtotrade #tradingmindset #tradingpsychology
