On January 31st, she was last seen alive. Hours later, security footage captured her inside a hotel elevator behaving in a way that many viewers still find unsettling — pressing multiple buttons, stepping in and out, and making unusual hand gestures toward the hallway, as if reacting to something unseen. After she failed to check out and contact her family, police released the elevator footage to the public. It quickly went viral, sparking widespread speculation. On February 19th, after hotel guests complained about low water pressure, discoloured water, and a strange taste, maintenance workers discovered Elisa’s body inside one of the rooftop water tanks. The Los Angeles County Coroner ultimately ruled her death an accidental drowning, with bipolar disorder listed as a significant factor.
